A refresh of their entire desktop and server environment, and the integration of a more secure network that protects against disaster and theft.

Our solution
Phase 1: A new desktop environment was established with new user desktops and by creating a standard operating environment with a customised package to suit the business.
Phase 2: Existing onsite hardware was replaced with new server hardware and a virtual environment using VMWare.
Phase 3: Network and servers were made as secure as possible by utilising hardware colocation services in a secure data center. We also ensured a highly responsive network that gave users the experience of an onsite server.

The network was built from the ground up. Access IT provided all necessary hardware. Configuration consisted of a highly secure data network that segmented each office. A wireless solution was adaptable to changing requirements and secure for everyone to use. The network was also built to easily accommodate regular influxes of new tenants.

Our Solution
An audit of the client’s PCs revealed a solution that would effectively rejuvenate them. Each PC’s hard disk was replaced with a new, high performance SSD hard drive. The desktop experience was enhanced through a standard operating environment with a customised package that included the barebones software needed for staff to work efficiently. The upgrade gave their computers approximately three extra years of life and saved the client close to $25K by not purchasing new PCs.
